Lynda,
I just wanted to let you know little "Tasha" is doing just
fine. As you suggested, she was very nervous when
she got home. We set up her "special room" in the hall
bathroom. She cried a little Sunday night, but settled
down when I held her in my lap.
Monday she was a bit braver, and would allow us to
hold her and pet her. (She has quite the "motor" when
she purrs!) We let her out to explore the house today.
She got a bit nervous, and hid under the china hutch. I
was able to get her out, and took her back to the
special room. She settled right down.
She hasn't had much to eat, yet, but did pee in her
new litter box. She is quite affectionate, and I think will
soon be ruling the roost. Also, Rachael has shown no
sign of any allergic reaction! We'll keep you posted on
her progress.
Thanks again,
Steve, Debbie, Rachael, and Natasha

Lynda,
I want to update you on our little Tasha. The day after
Christmas, she literally "came out of the closet" and
started socializing with us throughout the day. Prior to
that, we would only see her for a few minutes in the
evening, when she would join us in bed before we
turned out the lights. From that day on, she's been
very active, playful and social.
She's eating very well, and has yet to miss the litter box!
She plays with Rachael quite a bit. We took her to our
Vet for an initial meeting, and all was well. She has an
appointment in two weeks to have her front claws
removed (ouch!), and in February for spaying. We'll
send the certificate when that's done. We really love
her, and she apparently loves us too! (We're the ones
that feed her:-) - Steve
